PLASTICS WORKS, INC. GAMRAT S.A. are the leading producer of polyethylene pipes in Poland.
For 30 years GAMRAT S.A. has popularized the new technology of making gas pipelines of polyethylene. As the modern techniques and technologies develop, GAMRAT S.A. progressively develops and perfects its production base and R&D facilities. Presently we have at our disposal the state-of-the-art technology in both production of polyethylene pipes and the potential for research and inspection and analytical testing of raw materials and finished products. Production lines are completely automated, equipped with raw material drying units, spiral head, filter for melted plastics, cooling tanks with water flow and temperature regulation, 6-caterpilar fullering set preventing pipe deformation, continuous measurement of wall thickness and thermal marking.

All these elements ensure obtaining and maintaining of optimum technological parameters, and thus guarantee obtaining correct quality of pipes all along their length. Our production lines and used raw materials (from renown western sources) ensure a consistent standard quality of PE pipes, in accordance with the ZN-G-3150 factory standard.

Polyethylene pipes produced by PLASTICS WORKS, INC. GAMRAT S.A. are designed for distribution of fuel gas of group I (GS) as well as groups II (GZ), III (GPB) and IV (GP) at maximum working pressure 1.0 MPa. Gamrat PE pipes may be used for building and overhauls of gas distribution networks in both towns and rural settlements. Pipes of SDR-11 series made of polyethylene of minimum PE class 80 may be used for building and overhauls of gas distribution networks on mining areas of categories I-IV.
Gamrat PE pipes intended for distribution fuel gas are produced using PE 80 and PE 100*.
The density of used polyethylene is not lower than 930 kg/m³.

Gamrat PE pipes of diameters up to 75 mm are sold in coils of inner coil diameter minimum 25 of pipe outer diameters ("D"). The length of pipe in coil depends on pipe diameter and ranges from 150 m for diameter of 75 mm to 500 m for diameter of 25 mm. Pipes of diameter 90 mm and more are cut to sections of 6 or 12 meters. The packing mode, i.e. packs or bulk pipe section lengths (6 or 12 m), may be agreed with the Sales Department each time. Pipes are plugged to protect them against contamination, then coils and bundles are bound with tape.
